With alpineballooning - austria/tirol in 2010, Andy Nairz fulfilled a lifelong dream and turned his passion into his profession. With the purchase of the company, which has already been in existence for 25 years, he and his team are successfully continuing the long history of ballooning in Tyrol. But even before that, he was always looking for the extraordinary, for example as a skydiver, whitewater rafting guide or snowboarder from the very beginning. 2012 saw him successfully complete a further milestone in his career with his training as a flight instructor, after obtaining his pilot's licence in 2005 and passing the commercial examination in 2007.
Many balloon meetings took Andy Nairz across the borders of Austria into the whole world. Rides in Italy, Finland, Africa or Nepal made the feeling of rising into the air even stronger. In the Alps he is one of the most experienced pilots with over 1000 rides as a pilot in command.
For Andy Nairz, ballooning is not just a job, but a passion and a way of life - his motto: "Safety first"!Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
